Our client is an integrated communications agency with a core focus on digital. The agency has a diverse range of briefs covering many communication channels for financial services, travel, and retail clients. As a small agency, they have a fun, collaborative,and hardworking culture with a passion for producing brilliant creative workand delivering outstanding customer service.
They are looking for a Senior Strategist to lead and manage all strategic projects from client brief through to delivery.
You will play a key role in the agency's wider leadership team and be part of our exciting growth plans.
You enjoy helping clients solvetheir strategic challenges, through smart and innovative thinking, and by deliveringcreative work, that is brief and on strategy.
You will be responsible for developing and transforming strategies into creative solutions, working closely with teams, and ensuring client objectives are met.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop strategies that are insightful, relevant, innovative, and effective.
The Role
- Supporting the Creative Director and Client Services Director with the development of strategies, creative work and client presentations
- Leading and developing the agency's strategy requirements across all clients
- Working on multiple projects with internal and external teams
- Taking client briefs, writing agency briefs and developing out appropriate strategies that are clear and meet clients' objectives
- Briefing concept teams, writers and designers, critiquing and feeding back on creative work through to final delivery
- Comms planning, including user journey mapping
- Presenting creative work to clients, taking feedback and problemsolving
- Proposing new ideas and proactive solutions to clients
- Managing research and insights projects
- Leading and participating in brainstorming sessions
- Playing a key role on new business pitches
- Training, knowledge sharing and keeping up with industry best practices
- Hybrid working
The person
- Relevant agency experience as a Senior Strategist for at least 2 years
- Knowledge of integrated marketing especially digital and social media
- Proven track record of developing effective creative strategies
- Excellent presentation skills, a confident communicator who isn't afraid to speak up and constructively argue a point of view
- Problem solver, someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty
- Ability to establish relationships with new and existing clients, at all levels
- Thinks commercially and creatively as well as strategically
- Bachelor's degree
