About the role
We have an exciting role in our Marketing Team to lead on promoting Motorpoint Arena Nottingham events

With a focus on driving ticket sales via proactive marketing, you will support the venue in achieving its visitor, ticket sales and revenue targets and support the Marketing Team in driving marketing strategies for the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham.

  • This role demands an organised and proactive individual who has a positive attitude, thrives on managing multiple projects at the same time and who can incorporate evening and weekend working into their schedule when required.

You will be supported by experienced managers in the Marketing & Comms Team, colleagues in IT working on data analysis and website development, and you will work closely with successful managers and teams who will openly welcome your professional creativity, engagement with their challenges and your solutions.

About us

  • The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham is the largest entertainment venue in the East Midlands, showcasing the biggest events in music, comedy, and sport from Peter Kay to Ed Sheeran, England Netball to the World Ice Hockey Championships, with over 500,000 customers a year.
  • The National Ice Centre (NIC) sits within the same complex and hosts a variety of ice sports for clubs, the public, beginners and even Olympians, trading 18 hours a day, every day, with over 250,000 visitors a year.
We know that we are very lucky to be involved in the live entertainment and sport industry. We love what we do, which is to give people wonderful experiences that they may remember for a lifetime.

We work hard and sometimes long hours at strange times but together as a team, our job satisfaction is off the scale.

We care about PEOPLE, whether our staff or our customers.

We are driven by the PASSION for what we do and our customers have for their favourite artists, events or sport.

We are focussed on facilitating the best possible PERFORMANCE of our team and the artists and participants that make this venue their home for a night.

About the Marketing & Communications Team

  • The team support all areas of the business, which includes ice skating and arena shows, but also promoting hospitality experiences, our meetings & event spaces, ice sports shops and many merchandising partner venues and festivals around the UK and Ireland.
  • The workload is varied, and the team works in a very busy and fastpaced environment. No two days are the same today may be organising Harlem Globetrotters PR interviews, tomorrow may be launching our new restaurant menu or putting a Ricky Gervais show on sale.

The Team regularly has to dynamically balance pro-active plans and workloads with reactive tasks and short-notice periods of national Arena tours for which deadlines cannot slip and which can create challenging conflicts for workload prioritisation.
