We are looking for a support worker to work in Highgate North London. Ideally, you will have experience working with individuals with learning disability.

We are proud to offer a reliable and trustworthy domiciliary care service to vulnerable adults who wish to remain in the comfort of their own home.

We are building a new friendly team, so we want compassionate care support workers to join us.

Experience of working with adults with dementia, physical disability, sensory impairment and learning disability.
Demonstrate knowledge of Person Centred Working and experience of working with challenging behaviours
Flexible in approach to the needs of person(s) being supported, enabling them to take control of their lives.
Experience of enabling person/s to develop the skills and confidence needed to live as independently as possible is essential
Identifying the support needs of clients and implement their support plans to meet clients needs. Daily support including provision of personal care for people in their own homes.

Hours of Support on a rostered basis is Monday to Sunday. (Flexibility is key) Minimum hours per call is 4 hours.

Licence:

NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)

Criteria:

Be caring, empathetic and respectful
Good written and verbal communication skills
DBS on update is preferred. In the absence of this, you should be willing to have a Disclosure Barring service check completed on applicant's cost only.
