Description
We have an opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer or Structural Engineer to join our Clients team in Maidenhead.

The Company specialises in providing services for utilities and broadband / fibre suppliers with much of its work taking place on or aroundpublic highways and footpaths.


With the award of a new contract they are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer or Structural Engineer to provide additional expertise on the contract.


The main purpose of the role will be to provide engineering design for complex manholes with non-standard designs, propping designs, temporary works and providing CAD designs and details for these for the site teams to follow.


Key tasks include -


  • Survey reports


  • Structural design calculations


  • Structural design and analysis reports


  • Input to project execution plans


  • Input to concept study/FEED reports


  • Requisition (including SDRL)


  • Construction work pack input


  • Weight control reports


  • Presentations sketches etc. to assist in scope communications.

Design / Drawing deliverables for the role -



  • Structural general arrangement drawings



  • Structural detail drawings



  • Structural destruct drawings



  • Installation methodology drawings/documents



  • Rigging drawings



  • Survey reports



  • Structural design calculations



  • Structural design and analysis reports



  • Project execution plans



  • Project basis of design documents



  • Concept study/FEED reports



  • Requisition (including SDRL)



  • Construction workpacks



  • Weight control reports

About you -



  • Demonstrable and successful experience in a similar role



  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent (qualification and experience)



  • Excellent communication skills



  • Analytical and process driven



  • Ability to attend offsite meetings when required
Full UK driving licence is essential
