- lling role of a 1:1 Support WorkerThis Ofsted Outstanding adult education centre has a rare opportunity to join their team due to an internal promotion. The centre is based in the community of Cranleigh, near Guildford and supports almost 40 students with Autism and associated conditions. Learners are offered specialist day services, with individualised learning support based on their needs and desires. As a vital member of the team, you'll work closely with the dedicated staff to shape the futures of adults with ASD and other disabilities.

Your role will encompass designing and implementing tailored learning programs, offering unwavering support, and nurturing a sense of independence and inclusion.

Key Skills required:

  • Experience of working in community based services or with young adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
  • Comfortable working with challenging behaviour
  • Ability to work as a team and build relationships with learners, parents and staff
  • A positive and resilient attitude
  • Minimum Grade C or equivalent, in English Language & Maths is desirable
  • Care certificate is desirable
  • Own means of transport
