Description
Acorn is currently recruiting for a Finisher.
Do you have an eye for detail?
Can you read and understand engineering drawings?
Then we have the next role for you.....

Job role:

  • Experience in a workshop environment
  • Ability to use measuring equipment such as Verniers
  • Excellent communication skills, good team worker, flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent timekeeping and reliability

Ideally you will have:

  • Recognised engineering or mechanical apprenticeship
  • Manual machining, centre lathe, vertical mill, pillar drill
  • Problem solving attitude, analytical approach to engineering solutions
  • Computer literacy
Working Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:00 with flexible start time, company pension scheme, work-wear and bonus scheme available.
