We are recruiting for an Administration Support Officer to work on our new prestigious contract at Sizewell C, Suffolk, East England.
Scope of the role
- The Administration Support is integral to the success of this busy team, the primary focus will be to support the HR Coordinator and Manager in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff to the G4S Contract. The role will also involve Pay, HR responsibilities and liaising with G4S Central Services and the Client team. You will be required to deliver the industry assurance requirement to have all staff at least the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) before they are set to work.
- This role will be one of the first of what will make up a larger operational support function as the SZC contract expands. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop their career within both G4S and the Sizewell C project.

Pay:
£13.00ph
Weekly Hours:40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This can be altered on occasions to meet the needs of the business and the Client.
Remuneration package:

Key Responsibilities
- Vetting administration and verification responsibilities for the contract
- Focal Point for local vetting enquiries.
- Verification of BPSS vetting casework.
- Interfaces internally with other vetting team members, training, HR and externally with contractor organisations.
- Ensuring regulatory requirements for vetting on site are complied with by all staff and contractors.
- Support in the management of the team shift Rota using company IT & Software.
- Support in ensuring manning levels are met for all duties and adhoc requirements.
- Supervision of staff holidays, forward planning and coverage of annual leave.
- Support in the management of sickness and absence.
- HR, Pay and General Administration support.

Profile
Educational Requirements/Qualifications
- A basic standard of education in Maths, English and IT.
Preferred Experience
- Experience of working within a busy office environment
- At least 2 years Administration Background
