Do you have experience in facilitating the payroll in Switzerland? Are you able to work independently and would like to join one of our offices in London, Antwerp, Amsterdam or Berlin? Would you like to join a fast-developing company with a global footprint of 50 worldwide locations and growing? We are looking for an international Payroll & Billing Specialist for the EMEA team.
Your role
You as Payroll & Billing Specialist are responsible for entering reported time for payroll processing and ensuring that payroll is processed in Switzerland.
You are part of an international team who all work independently and are responsible for different regions/countries. We are currently looking for someone who has experience with the DACH region.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensuring all payrolls are processed accurately and on time.
- Ensuring completion of month end activities.
- Validating payroll files.
- Ensuring the local tax payments and compliance requirements are met.
- Acting on employee payroll issues.
- Handling of administrative matters related to payroll activities e.g. insurance, absence/leave, pension providers
- Prepare payroll payments.
- Prepare, control, and send defined reports to authorities.
- Payroll and billing processing, verification, and final report distribution.
- Deliver exemplary support and services to our employees, both internal and external, in all payroll, billing and wage related matters.
- Meet both quality and production standards established by the company and department.
- Raise sales invoices in the required format
Skills and experience we value:
- Fluent in English and German/French
- Work experience in payroll processing, knowledge of German/Swiss payroll is a plus
- Understanding of countryspecific Labor law and Tax Law
- Good communication skills across organization levels and with many different stakeholders
- Proficiency in IT systems, experience with working with Microsoft Navision and Microsoft Dynamics
- Collaborate and work effectively in both team environment as well as work independently
- Critical attention to detail and problem solving
