Description

This is an exciting new opportunity for 3 Band 7 advanced Podiatrists to provide clinical and managerial leadership in the areas of High risk foot / Diabetes or Education / Development.

You will be enthusiastic, motivated and resourceful, with significant experience of autonomous clinical decision making in high risk patient care, in particular active diabetic foot disease and have experience of working within a well-established Diabetes Foot Protection programme and have in-depth knowledge of current NICE Guidance and current relevant NHS experience.

You will be looking to develop your knowledge, skills and experience within diabetic foot disease to expert practitioner status.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to mentor students at all levels from Podiatry assistant to undergraduate Podiatry.

Depending on role you will be expected to lead on student education, including Podiatry apprenticeships and Podiatry assistant training or lead on the management of the high risk foot across community and hospital settings.
