A top digital solutions provider in Bath with a reputation for innovation and creativity are seeking an inspiring Head of Development to join their team.

They'd love to find someone who can provide technical consultancy to their clients, who really knows theirstuff with JavaScript and ideally from a creative agency background.

Could this be you?

What skills you'll need:

Ability to scope a project and provide accurate costs and timeline.
Able to interrogate the heavily technical elements of a brief/solution.
Very good functional spec document writing.
Manage, mentor and inspire a small dev team.
Experience in providing technical consultation, both externally and internally.
Ability to work with a range of clients across a range of projects.
Seeking out the newest technologies, broadly understanding them and suggesting how they could be utilised.
Technically minded and comfortable with clients.

What you'll be doing

The person they're looking for will have a solid foundation in JavaScript and modern libraries, plenty of experience in development teams and will be ready to take a more senior management role in an enthusiastic and experienced agency.

You'll be scoping, consultingand documenting across a wide range of projects including interactive websites, apps, games, AI, VR, touchscreen tech and APIs for a varied client-base.

You'll be working closely with and inspiring their small team of developers ensuring code is consistentlyhigh-quality that's tested and reviewed to the highest standard.

This agency is always looking to work with new and innovative tech and evolving all the time
