In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a leader in the energy storage industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Health & Safety of all employees & visitors within the area of responsibility at all times. Ensure compliance with all daily/weekly/monthly H&S audits as defined.
- Led & drive the H&S Improvement team for the department
- Ensure the highest levels of housekeeping are maintained
- Carry out investigations and disciplinaries and grievance hearing as necessary
- Assist with carrying out and maintaining a register of all risk assessments for maintenance tasks in conjunction with appropriate skills from within the team and manufacturing
- Write safe working procedures for operations and maintenance following the necessary risk assessments being completed
- Manage all preventative maintenance requirements for the site targeting >95% completion.
- Reporting maintenance performance using MTTR and MTBF.
- Manage site facilities both production and office buildings
- Drive continuous improvement activities within maintenance to ensure the highest quality of product, minimize scrap and optimize cost at all times
- Work liaise with all Cell Managers to ensure support for equipment is provided and maintained
- Previous experience in leading and managing maintenance teams
- Ideally already trained in IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
- Previous experience in carrying out risk assessments in the workplace and documenting safe working procedures
- Educated to a minimum of HND in an engineering discipline and/or timeserved apprentice with a proven history of selfdevelopment postqualifying.
- A proven history of fault finding to source and implementation of corrective actions
