Butler Rose is pleased to be supporting a leading SME subsidiary business, which has financial backing from a large global group with the recruitment of a Financial Controller on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Our client has a strong internet presence that supports households across the UK and has a national reach.

The primary responsibility of the Financial Controller will be to oversee the accounting team, deliver accurate financial reporting and planning inaccordance with Group deadlines and reporting standards, and ensure that financial activities are conducted in accordance with legal requirements.

The Financial Controller will have three direct reports but will have overall responsibility for a team of seven. Our client can offer hybrid working, good benefits that include 5% matched pension + more.

Person Spec

Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW)
Minimum of 5 years' experience in running a complete operational finance department
Exposure to UK Regulatory matters e.g. VAT/Statutory Accounts/Corp Tax
Manufacturing and/or distribution experience is desirable in a multicurrency environment
