Description

We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Manager to join our team at Nepicar House in Kent.

Manage the Purchase Ledger Team of approx. 25 members. Ensure supplier invoices, staff expenses and petty cash payments (approx. 12,000 per month) are processed accurately, in accordance with agreed control procedures and paid in a timely manner.

Please note this role is a fixed term contract for 12 months covering maternity leave.

Responsibilities (will include but are not limited to):

Manage the process for purchase invoices, petty cash and staff expenses, including input, verification, approval, matching and statement reconciliation as necessary
Managing and training the team
Establish effective working relationships with over 100 operating sites and internal departments e.g. Procurement and Projects
Ensuring all processes are up to date and regularly reviewed including the invoice/signing authority matrix
Ensure payment runs are accurate, timely and appropriately reviewed
Manage the regular review of Aged Creditors
Suggest improvements to control/system processes and implement where possible
Ensure regular reporting on key team stats such as processing volumes and call handling
Knowledge of IR35 regulations
