The Copthorne Hotel Manchester is seeking a Senior Finance Assistant. The successful applicant will assist with the day-day running of the Finance department.

Senior Finance Assistant responsibilities include:

Processing invoices
Raising credit notes
Administering customer deposits and refunds
Processing monthly statements
Maintaining accurate banking records
Stock control
Managing the daily floats and resolving any discrepancies
Processing petty cash requests
Completing the daily and month end banking journals
Reconciling credit card transactions
Assisting the Financial Controller with payroll

What are we looking for?

Previous experience as a Finance Assistant/Senior Finance Assistant
Experience of Opera/similar is advantageous (any other systems to add here?)
High level of numeracy and literacy
A selfmotivated individual who has the ability to work using initiative and as part of a team
The ability to work to a high standard, while managing a busy workload
The ability to work accurately under pressure
Availability to work Monday to Friday, typically office hours
