Mental Health Teaching Assistant

For this Mental Health Teaching Assistant role you will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with different students helping them to gain an understanding of Mental Health and the factors around it.

When working with these students you will be monitoring theirmental health alongside how well they are doing academically and how it is affecting their behaviour.

When you are not working with students on a 1:1 basis you will be required to step in and support in class, you will be supporting them during their lessonsand managing any behavioural outbursts when they arise.

The ideal Mental Health Teaching Assistant for this role will need to have had a least 6 months experience and have a strong understanding of Mental Health.


SEMH School

This SEMH School is located in Wandsworth and caters for girls and boys aged between 7-18 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

They currently have 170 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in 2017, they were reviewed as 'Outstanding'in all areas.
