Introduction:

They are an expert group of individuals who are passionate and have the drive to grow this company into one of Cheltenham's leading resource providers for some of the UK highest security cleared projects.

Key responsibilities:

Uses information gathered from system users to develop software for system upgrades.
Corrects program errors.
Ensures software standards are met in accordance to business goals.

Skills & experience:

Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a large IT Enterprise environment
Basic understanding of Linux and windows servers (For example: AIX, RHEL 7, Ubuntu, CentOS OS's, Windows 2016,2019, or Windows SQL).
Working knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices for Systems Management.
Good IT skills in a range of SW packages.
Disciplined and logical work approach.
Providing timely information to management to enable decision making and seeking direction and guidance, team advice, exercising tact and diplomacy, and promoting enthusiasm, innovation and effective, positive interpersonal relationships.
High degree of personal and professional integrity.

The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:

Experience of Perl, Bash, TPM Workflow Language
SQL, UNIX shell/perl/powershell scripting, unix logs etc.
Experience of ITM/Zabbix/Oracle/SNMP monitoring would be an advantage.
