Description
Our client is an independent construction company operating throughout the East Midlands. They are a family-owned business, established in 1973, with operations covering construction, property development and repairs and maintenance.

We are ideally looking for applicants with basic administration experience but not essential if you have strong IT skills using Word and Excel.

The role will start in July or August.


Duties Include:

1. Reception

  • Signing in/ Greeting visitors
  • Answering Phone:
  • Receiving Post and deliveries
  • Sending post
  • Ordering stationery and monitoring inventory

2. Electronic Filing

  • Waste Transfer Notes
  • Delivery/ Collection Notes
  • Training Certificates
  • Toolbox Talks
  • Filing Subcontractors Payment Certificates

3. Construction Drawings

  • Filing on Procore
  • Printing for site

4. Site Set Up Boxes

  • Preparing/ printing documents for new sites starting up
  • Scanning back in when a site has finished.

5. Insurances / Subcontractor Payments

  • Chasing expired insurance documents
  • Checking subcontractors' insurances to ensure payment can be made.
  • Checking subcontractors' status on HMRC

6.


Uniform:


  • Ordering uniform / PPE and keeping inventory.

7.


Kitchen:


  • Buying Milk
  • Empty / Fill Dishwasher
Order Kitchen stock (teabags etc.)


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
£19,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
