The HR team play a key role in delivering the Firm's business plan by attracting, developing and retaining key talent.

The team is inclusive, friendly and hard working. They are driven to provide high-quality client service and work collaboratively with each other.


The team consists of c.20 people including client facing generalist roles alongside other specialist teams which include; Data & Systems, Recruitment, Talent & Development and Diversity & Inclusion.


Purpose of job:


As a HR Assistant you will work closely with the HR team to provide full administrative support as well as support on HR processes and projects.

You will be responsible for the employee life cycle processes including new joiners and leavers.

  • Managing the onboarding of new joiners, including drafting of offer letters and contracts and conducting preemployment checks
  • Managing the leaver process, including drafting letters and system administration
  • Coordinating the fixedterm contract process
  • Conducting new starter reviews and exit interviews, providing feedback to the HR Managers where appropriate
  • Deal with day to day employee related queries on HR policies, processes and the HR systems (e.g. Dynamics 365, ADP, VinciWorks, Bowland Solutions, Vero Live)
  • Supporting with payroll and benefits administration including preparing reports and processing monthly benefit invoices
  • Supporting with the administration of the annual salary and bonus reviews
  • General reporting of management information such as headcount, sickness and benefits as required
  • Supporting with HR communications including updating the intranet with relevant news stories and updating the HR pages when required
  • Assisting with HR projects and administration where required
  • Assisting with the wellbeing programme, conducting research and making recommendations as well as coordination of the programme.
