Care Assistant - Lakeview Lodge Care Home in Newton Leys, Milton Keynes, Part of The Country Court Family
Hours: 33 Hours per week, working alternate weekends on rota (Shift Times
Lakeview Lodge, situated on the edge of Newton Leys, Milton Keynes provides family-value led residential and dementia care. Our dedicated team led by the Manager offers round-the-clock support, making life comfortable and enjoyable for the residents.
ABOUT YOU
Our fantastic staff are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people's lives.
- Be no stranger to working long shifts
- Have good written & verbal communication skills
- Able to engage well with the residents and their families
- Have an understanding of people with Dementia.
- Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
- Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this.

ABOUT THE CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping our residents with personal support and care
- Aiding their emotional wellbeing and social needs
- Supporting residents at meals time
- Interacting with our residents on a personal level
- Maintaining and developing the residents care plan to ensure their needs are met

Care Assistant, dementia, Alzheimer's, older people, senior care assistant, Support staff, Social Care Worker jobs, Community Care Worker, Residential Care Worker, NHS Support Worker.
