A vacancy has arisen for a highly motivated and committed Premises Maintenance Operative to join the Premises Team at our school.

They will assist the Premises Manager and Premises Team Leader in ensuring site-wide compliance with health and safety legislation and school policy, undertaking regular inspections of equipment, buildings and the school site.

As a member of the Premises Team, they will support the Premises Manager in proactively ensuring the security, cleanliness and maintenance of the school and associated sites.

This includes both grounds and buildings to ensure a safe and healthy environment for delivery of high quality Teaching and Learning.

The Vacancy


Experience of working within a school setting would be a distinct advantage, along with a knowledge of all aspects of health and safety.

The salary scale for this post is G5 points , £23, £25,878.00 per annum. Our LGPS employer contribution is currently 26.9%.

The annual leave entitlement starts at 24 days per annum, rising to 29 days after 5 years, plus bank holidays.
