They are looking to recruit a highly motivated and self-sufficient Contracts Manager to carry out a wide range of duties throughout the West Midlands, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare, and support, in the provision of tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, quotations, measuring and valuation of work done on site and other documentation as required
  • Source new opportunities for the business
  • Supervision of site staff
  • Sourcing, and selection, of construction materials for projects
  • Attend precontract meeting(s) for projects as required
  • Work collaboratively with internal staff and report back to management as required
  • Effectively supervise all aspects of Health and Safety within area(s) of responsibility
  • Liaise with client(s) and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers, together with outside stakeholders e.g., SEPA, Local Authority roads departments, Forestry Commission, neighbours etc
  • Maintain effective working relationships with service contract suppliers
  • Any other duties required

Requirements:


  • Extensive knowledge of building practices
  • Essential that you hold a full UK driving licence with more than one year's driving experience
  • Ideally living within a 30 mile radius of Telford, Shropshire
  • 10 years plus industry experience.
  • You will be expected to be able to clear a DBS check as a lot of our work is for the local Authorities

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary dependant on experience and qualifications - £35K to £45K
