Grafton Banks Finance are working with a growing commercial business with offices in Horsham to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager on a full-time Contract basis.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for the companies APFunction. Processing volumes are upwards of 30,000 invoices per year and suppliers range from small sole traders to large corporates.

This role will directly line manage the AP team, currently made up of 9 staff members including a senior and supervisor roles.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

The full purchasetopay cycle, including PO management and Invoice processing and approvals as well as payments via our online banking portals
This includes not only payments to 3rd party suppliers of goods and services, but also payments or invoicing from sole traders and private limited companies
Cash management: Oversight of the bank reconciliation process and weekly payment forecasting to support cashflow management.
Company Credit Card returns, Out of Pocket expenses reimbursement, Cash Advances and Petty Cash management
The Accounts Payable Manager will lead issue resolution discussions with suppliers and guide the senior finance leadership on any potential payment and/ or fraud risks and take necessary steps to protect the company's assets.
You will inspire and motivate the team and develop and nurture existing talent through monitoring of our KPIS, driving continuous improvement of people and processes.
