Legionella Risk Assessor -Taunton - £28,000 - £34,000

Are you an existing plumber looking to speciailise in Legionella?


An established Water company, specialising in Water Hygiene and Legionella, are now looking for an experienced and qualified Legionella Risk Assessor to tackle the South West.

The company have created a gleaming reputation for themselves after being in the industry for around 30 years. They cover the whole of the UK geographically and work both domestically and commercially.


Key duties of the Legionella Risk Assessor:

  • Legionella risk assessments ensuring ACOP L8 guidelines are followed.
  • Completing regular water sampling and temperature testing.
  • Producing reports and schematic drawings.
  • Liaise with clients and customers.

They will also be carrying out additional plumbing duties such as:

  • TMV servicing
  • Dead leg removals
  • Pipe work
  • Remedial work

Experience required for the Legionella Risk Assessor:

  • 3+ years working as a Legionella Plumber/Risk Assessor.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • City & Guilds in Legionella and/or Plumbing (or equivalent)
  • Awareness of ACOP L8 and HSG27
  • Excellent communications skills verbal and written
  • Willing to commute within the South West and potentially other regions if/when required.
  • Ability to work in a team alongside independently.
