Locum Prosecutions Lawyer Part Time / Full Time £ per hour ASAP Start Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Prosecutions Lawyer to join a local authority based in the East Midlands.

The role will be for an initial 3 month period witha strong possibility of this to be extended.

The successful Prosecutions Solicitor or Barrister will be able to 'hit the ground running' and manage their own caseload of prosecution matters, which will may include matters such as:


  • Advice and advocacy forprosecutions primarily in relation to environmental, regulatory and antisocial behaviour offences in the Magistrates Courts
  • Experience of Local Authority Licensing
  • The requirement to attend Licensing Sub-Committees at various venues in the East Midlands
  • Having conduct of and provide advocacy for any Licencing Appeals in the Magistrates Courts
