Description

One of our clients, based in the North West of England, is looking to appoint a Senior Public Health Specialist to be responsible for leading the development of an effective health improvement function for public health.


This includes providing leadership and direction to core health improvement staff; maximising the opportunities and contributions across health and social care and other key public and voluntary sector organisations to improving public health outcomes and reducing health inequalities.

The post holder will be the lead specialist in health improvement, responsible for leading the prevention agenda.

This includes the development, co-ordination, planning and implementation of a range of health improvement strategies and/or commissioning Public Health services that promote health and wellbeing, protect health, encourage healthy lifestyles and reduce health inequalities; in line with Warrington's agreed needs and priorities.


This assignment is hybrid working, is set for an initial period of 6 months and the pay rate is £400/day umbrella, so if you feel you have the relevant experience and would be keen to discuss further, then please get in touch for more information.
