We are looking for two eLearning Assistants to join our Digital Education Unit.


The Opportunity:


An exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team of digital education specialists in the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies' Digital Education Unit (DEU).

The Vet School's DEU is well-established and highly regarded for its innovative support of teaching, both within and beyond the University.

These posts will support the School's postgraduate taught programmes (PGT) and continuing professional development (CPD) activities.

It will involve preparing lecturer's materials and uploading them to the course's VLE, as well as supporting students with their queries.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Educated to Higher Grade or equivalent plus relevant administrative/ secretarial experience in busy office environment.
  • Experience of working successfully in a team and on your own with fairly mínimal supervision.
  • Evidenced high standard of written English, meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in communications.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and good IT skills. Experience in video or photo editing software, for example Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Proactive in creating and improving office systems and procedures. Flexible and adaptable approach to changes in systems and business processes.
