Legal Secretary | Clinical Negligence Department

Remote Based - Will be required to attend South Manchester based office occasionally

Salary up to £23,000

I am currently recruiting for a fantastic Law Firm that are looking to take on a Personal Injury Legal Secretary to support a busy Clinical Negligence department.

The role will include:

Preparation of correspondence and documents through audio typing and word processing
Maintaining diaries and making appointments for fee earners
Daily filing including file opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files.
Liaising with clients in person and by telephone in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm's standards for client care.
Arranging mail dispatch by post, hand or Document Exchange.
Requesting medical reports

Experience required:

An ability to work under pressure, and to respond to crises;
An ability to work both within a team and on your own initiative;
An ability to manage your typing efficiently, competently and costeffectively;
Be PC literate having a basic knowledge of the Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent telephone manner
Previous Personal Injury experience
