Job title:
Senior Project Professional - Outcome Management Support


Salary:
From £38,734 depending on skills and experience


What you'll be doing:


  • Maintaining a regular forecast performance against each outcome to determine confidence in achievement at key stages of the programme (i.e., a 'risk burndown chart' in reverse)
  • Arranging (upon request) and maintaining a record of the engagement with the expert panels for each programme outcome to guide and agree the modelling process and outputs
  • Supporting the operation of an efficient assurance regime to verify and validate models and their outputs for use in outcome analysis
  • Supporting the predictive analysis of proposed change 'scenarios' to support decisionmaking on timing and focus of improvement activities
  • Supporting the production of a periodic report to the Programme Board setting out the gaps between required and forecast outturns, together with recommendations to prioritise actions and inform programme decisions

Your skills and experiences:


  • Graduate level qualification in project management, engineering/construction or demonstratable equivalent work experience
  • Experience in programmes or projects
  • Experience of working with stakeholders across multiple functions and grade structures, and facilitating/influencing decision making at these levels
  • Ability to support on the presentation to stakeholders at all levels
  • Good Experience in Microsoft office
  • Excel/PowerPoint/Word

The Programme Integration JVMT (Joint Value Management Team):

The Joint Value Management Team (JVMT) and Programme Management Office (PMO) work collaboratively within the Programme Integration Layer to bring together data and capabilities to give management information for SSNA programme decisions.

The Outcome Management Support (OMS) will be responsible to support the Outcome Management Lead in maintaining an assured, definitive SSNR Programme Forecast of Outturn (FOO) against each of the Programme Outcomes and following the SSNR's Outcome Management process.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain insight to a diverse stakeholder network while learning not only about BAE Systems but also about other members of the submarine enterprise.

Working as part of a wider team, you will have exposure to various PM workstreams and projects.
