Waters Edge, Clarendon Dock, Belfast, BT1 3BH


Hours:
Monday to Friday, (8:30am - 5:00pm)

If you consider yourself a 'people person' and want to increase your level of knowledge and experience, this may be the role for you We are looking for a driven Technical Support advisor to join our growing Telecoms Team in brand new Belfast office


Key responsibilities include:


  • 2nd line faults diagnostics for Hosted, Broadband and WLR product range, using web portals to diagnose faults and raise with Service Providers
  • Configure routers to detailed specification
  • Escalation to external Service Providers to ensure resolution of faults within SLA
  • Determine issues by evaluating and analysing information provided by customers
  • Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers where necessary
  • Work closely with other Departments to aid fault resolution
  • Use of CRM system to manage customers' requests
  • To log and forward System and IT support calls to relevant departments

Essential Skills:


  • Ability to conduct effective troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Excellent Communication skills, including verbal, written and active listening skills.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices;
  • Ability of work on own initiative and as part of a team, ensuring the best outcome for the customer
  • Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure
  • Computer literacy MS Excel, Word, Outlook
  • One years' experience working in a busy Customer Service
  • Technical Support environment, supporting multiple clients and technologies
