Pure Coffee runs four cafes aroundGreater Manchester:
Etherow Park Café (Stockport), Vernon Park Café (Stockport), The Boathouse Café (Oldham) and The Windmill Coffee shop (Stockport) as well as 'Pure Kitchen' a bakery based in Stockport.
Or cafes have two keys aims:
providing delicious food and beverages, while delivering a quality customer service and providing our clients with the skills and experience of working in a busy commercial café.
About the Role
Duties and Responsibilities
Café:
- You will always deliver a high standard of customer service.
- You will prepare and serve food and drinks, maintaining quality and presentation at all times, enhancing the customer service.
- You will comply with food hygiene regulations, ensuring that the café and all public areas within are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and that all paperwork is completed accurately, within the desired timeframe.
- You will be required to attend and complete training and comply with all of Pure Innovations policies and procedures.
- You are required to complete daily and weekly banking tasks and paperwork to a satisfactory standard.
- You will be required to secure the building as a key holder and deal with customer complaints in the absence of the café supervisor.
- You are required to attend staff meetings and contribute to the cafe's development.
- You must comply with the employee dress code at all times.
- You will comply with all of Pure Innovations policies and procedures
Supporting Clients:
- You will take a leading role in the training and support of vulnerable adults who will work alongside you on a daily basis.
- You will provide feedback on clients progress, help them to achieve their goals and liaise with colleagues, parents and carers to ensure their individual needs are met.
- You will ensure that concerns involving clients are promptly reported to the appropriate person.
What will you need to be a successful Catering Assistant?
Essential Criteria:
- You must have a high standard of personal hygiene, follow uniform guidelines and be able to work alone when required.
- You must have previous catering experience, in particular food preparation and experience of working in a commercial kitchen.
Desired Criteria (not essential as full training will be given):
- Experience within adult social care
- Customer service experience
- Barista Coffee experience
Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months
Pay:
£12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21 per week
