Kenny Recruit are actively recruiting for a CFO to join an exciting and on trend e-commerce fashion business.

Having started from humble beginnings and whilst still being a family run business, they have experienced huge success, with company revenue currentlystanding at circa £32 million.

There is a five year growth plan directed towards exit.

You will be responsible for a team of five and must have managed similar sized teams previously.

This role will need an individual who is commercially savvy and enjoys analysis projects across the business, business partnering will be key.

Due to the industryyou will need to enjoy your figures and large data sets, you must be strong on Excel and enjoy a hybrid role of business analysis, finance & accountancy.

M&A experience is a must and this role will likely overlap with COO responsibilities to begin with. Weneed someone who has experienced high growth SMEs and been heavily involved with the success of those companies.

You will report into the 4 Founders and be integral to the strategic direction of the business moving forward.


Package:
Upwards of £120,000 per annum + benefits + bonus + share options (dependent on experience). Package negotiable.


Location:
West London (this will be mainly an office based role)


Working hours:9.00am - 5.30pm


Responsibilities:


  • Ability to communicate with gravitas and to lead calmly under highpressure, highcomplexity scenarios.
  • Experience of M&A (including, but not restricted to: fundraising, exits, integrations).
  • Ability to manage the creation and management of a 'dataroom' with sufficient integrity
  • Experience of Investor relations and understanding of managing a cap table.
  • Ability to define and to persuasively articulate a Financial Strategy, Forecast and Target Operating Model (TOM) to shareholders and external investors.
  • Deep knowledge of the priorities of potential trade or private equity acquirers (key metrics, perceived risks, intellectual property, working capital).
  • Good experience of managing external advisors (legal, accounting and HR) to ensure positive outcomes for shareholders.
  • Good experience of managing and developing internal teams and IT systems, including experience in supervising finance personnel and supporting reporting lines such as logistics, sales and marketing.
  • Ability to develop and implement robust systems and processes to ensure strong fiscal management, project management and workflows.
  • Experience of risk management, evaluating and identifying potential threats, revenue opportunities and economic trends.

Desirables:


  • Recognised professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • M&A experience
  • FP&A experience
  • Previously led a successful exit strategy
