JOB TITLE:
Cleaning Operative




LOCATION:
Eldon Garden




SHIFT PATTERN:
Monday To Sunday between , 30 hours per week




PAY RATE:
£10.42 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE


We are looking to appoint a proactive Janitor to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment for all our customers and staff.

This is a permanent contract covering holidays with advanced notification of shifts.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Waste management in line with onsite process and achieve recycling targets
  • Use of onsite equipment including ride on scrubber drier, buffer and carpet cleaner
  • Operating company machinery including scrubber drier and walk behind scrubber, along with Site Compactor.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the centre.
  • Maintain the cleanliness within the service yard and areas
  • Assist client and retailers with the removal of items requiring disposal.
  • Take an active role in emergency situations including Fire Warden tasks
  • Work with on site and ad hoc contractors, maintaining a professional and courteous manner

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Enjoy working as part of a team as well as the ability to work independently to reach the shared goal.
  • Excellent time management
  • Smart and well presented.
  • High level of customer care awareness
