Description

We are looking to recruit a full time experienced Secretary/Admiistrator to provide efficient secretarial/ administrative support to the Recruitment & Retention team at Rampton Hospital.


You must demonstrate an ability to provide a high quality and comprehensive secretarial service to the team under the direction of the PA /Admin Manager.


You must be creative, capable of tight deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative in what will be a challenging and demanding role.


  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Recruitment & Retention Team.
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Liaise with staff from all levels of the hospital
  • Convene and attend meetings as required, producing accurate minutes, collating papers and agenda items
  • Maintain electronic diaries
  • Order stationery and other equipment using the relevant online systems

Essential requirements:

3 GCSE's A-C/9-4 including English Language or equivalent

Typing/word processing qualification to RSA/OCR III standard or equivalent level of experience

Knowledge of a full range of Business & Administration procedures acquired through NVQ Level 3 or proven practical experience

Microsoft Office i.e Database, Excel, Word, Powerpoint

Minute taking

Scheduling/ Diary Management

Minute Taking

Experience of working in a customer-facing role.

High Level Microsoft Office software

Previous experience of working in an office environment

Ability to work as an effective team member.

Computer literacy including word, excel, outlook, database

Maintain electronic records/information on computer

Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, including excellent written and oral skills.

Administrative Skills

Excellent telephone manner.

Good interpersonal skills.

Good numeracy and literacy skills.

Ability to travel between venues

Requirement to complete Mandatory Training


Desirable requirements:


ECDL
Relevant Experience of working within the NHS
