Description
A Credit Controller's responsibility is to assist our customers by following down on overdue invoices and collecting unpaid funds.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Commercial debt recovery experience, preferably from a credit control position.
  • Excellent negotiating skills.
  • Outstanding writing and vocal communication abilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Recovering client monies over the phone, discussing repayment conditions or settlement possibilities.
  • Advising clients on the optimal prelitigation strategy.
  • Keeping customers up to date on the status of their cases and giving status reports.
  • Constantly monitor and review payment arrangements, pursuing arrears as needed.
  • Liaison with third parties during the recovery process, such as bailiffs, sheriff officers, and solicitors.
