This is a great opportunity for you to join a small team within Shropcom and have a pivotal role within the team supporting the Deputy Director along with the rest of the Quality Team.


The post holder will support the Deputy Director Nursing & Quality with the quality improvement and clinical assurance work across the Trust working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Working alongside clinical leaders within the Trust the post holder will take day to day responsibility for key work streams and support the delivery of key quality domains.

The post holder will be the Trust lead for Learning Disabilities (LD), Autism (A) and Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)


The post holder will lead programmes of change and innovation that address identified clinical and operational priorities across the organisation.

They will be required to interpret, identify and implement potential organisational and service changes for the Trust.

  • Responsible for supporting the development of the annual Quality Account and ensuring priorities within the Account are progressed and delivered upon
  • Responsible for overseeing progress against the Trusts Quality Strategy objectives
  • Responsible for the management of the Quality Team
  • Responsible for appropriately managing the Quality Team budget
  • Responsible for representing the Trust internally and externally as the Learning Disability, Autism and SEND LeadMay undertake research following on from audits within the role


Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust provides community-based health services for adults and children in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and some services in surrounding areas too.
