Are you confident in sales and love talking to people?

Pertemps are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and dynamic Sales Executive to work within a successful hand-made gifts company in Devon.

This is a great opportunity to work in a fun, friendly office, and on varied sales role

The successful Sales Executive will be:

  • Working closely with colleagues to provide excellent customer service and sales support for their existing resellers
  • Encouraging their trade customers to make repeat orders, as well as offering them helpful display and merchandising support
  • Educating trade customers about the benefits of our client as a brand, using strong evidence from their own eCommerce website customer experiences
  • Identifying and acquiring new trade customers and sales opportunities, in addition to driving their preorder campaigns (supported by marketing activity)

They're looking for a Sales Executive who can:

  • Take incoming orders from existing customers and maintain accurate records
  • Process these new orders for despatch, using their internal CRM system
  • Drive preorder sales for their important Christmas, Spring and Autumn campaigns
  • Advise customers on how best to sell and display their ranges, as well as latest updates
  • Identify new areas or business opportunities that match their growth ambitions
  • Actively seek out sales opportunities through networking, contacts, and social media
  • Speak to any potential new customers independent shops, garden centres, farm shop
  • Work with marketing and retail colleagues on delivering successful promotional activity
  • Represent the brand at selected trade shows and events
  • Provide customer service support with incoming calls from the website to the office
  • Support their warehouse team and delivery partners as required

What sort of skills are needed as the Sales Executive?:

  • Strong organisational, multitasking, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a good eye for detail
  • Competency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience working in a customer service or telesalesbased role
  • Outgoing, friendly and positive personality
  • Ability to work in a small team
  • Access to own vehicle (their head office is not accessible by public transport)
This is a Monday - Friday 9-5 role, with a salary of £24,000-£26,000 p/a.
