CMA Recruitment Group is currently working with a PE backed SME business located in Fareham, to support on the successful appointment of a Finance Manager.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the financial control of the accounts department ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information; with responsibility of managing a small transactional finance team.


Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:

  • Management of the AP & AR function including direct supervision of four staff;
  • Submission of VAT returns, taking lead on balance sheet reconciliations to support month end reporting;
  • Assist with accurate cash management/cash forecast;
  • Assist the Senior Leadership Team with continued development of the company strategy across all areas, challenging assumptions and decision making through financial analysis and guidance;
  • Ensuring both internal and external reporting is carried out in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Good systems and process improvement experience;
  • Previous experience working as a Transactional Team Lead/Finance Manager within an SME environment (essential);
