About this role

  • You'll be joining a large operational team that delivers and supports the UK's broadband and mobile infrastructure. You will be at the forefront of technological change as BT migrates from its old infrastructure to a new digital environment. You'll see firsthand how field operations is run from forecasting, planning, scheduling to delivery. In this role, you'll gain experience in strategic planning, performance management, project management and analysis as well as gaining insights into 3rd party contracts and fleet management.
  • You'll use agile ways of working to help drive improvements in Field Operations, learning a variety of techniques such as Continuous Improvement, stakeholder and relationship management. You'll have an opportunity to work with our transformation team and experience how significant change is managed. You'll also work with our field plan optimisation team and gain an understanding as to how demand (work coming in) and supply (resource available) is managed in a competitive environment.

  • Will you be providing any specific learning relating to the rotation? The applicant will learn about the Networks operations, our copper/mobile/radio networks and during their time working on the team with the opportunity to gain an understanding of the ways of working within the field and desk teams.
  • This role is available in the Networks part of our business.

- £33,500

  • This is a 24month Graduate position, followed by a permanent position in this Business Unit at the end of the programme.
