Our client is considered one of the top macro-Hedge Funds in the world, the industry award-winning company want to grow their existing team based in London and are currently searching for a highly skilled Desktop Engineer.

The Desktop Engineer will needto provide support for the firm's global desktop & VDI environment, as well as provide assistance to trade floor, VIP's and other group offices.


Desktop Engineer Responsibilities:


  • Proactive monitoring of the environment and PCs using various tools
  • Administration of VMWare Horizon VDI environment
  • Collaborate with existing members of the team to troubleshoot problems that arise
  • Install & document support procedures

Desktop Engineer Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years experience within IT related roles
  • Used to working to best practice methodologies, e.g. ITIL
  • Understanding of build and client distribution architectures (SCCM)
  • MWare VSphere Suite Administration
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Good understanding of control and delivery principles
  • Projects, Change Management
  • PowerShell scripting
