Pyramid8 are recruiting for a growing domiciliary care provider in Wakefield for an enthusiastic Care Manager. We have an exciting opportunity within a friendly Company in Wakefield.

They are winners of Employer of Choice and in the area and have been establishedfor a number of years they are now looking for a manager to take the reigns and help the company grow.

Working closely with the Senior Management team.

Hold a full driving licence and have use of own vehicle.


Key responsibilities:


  • Efficiently manage the day to day running of the branch.
  • Allocate resources and monitor performance to deliver high quality homecare to customers.
  • Build and develop relationships with Local Authorities, staff and families
  • Be responsible for the safe delivery of the service in line with legislative requirements and company policy and procedures
  • Understand and monitor health and safety in the workplace and in the field
  • Be prepared to work flexibly to ensure the safe delivery of the service
  • Carry out care plan assessments and reviews for customers.
  • Ensure all emergency oncall issues are dealt with effectively, such as covering calls either directly or indirectly when care workers are sick or absent
  • Promote the business
  • Participate in the growth and development of the business. Work with the senior management team to achieve sales targets and deliver within budget

Skills and Experience:


  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager of a Domiciliary agency (2 Years Minimum) or Senior Carer who is looking for the next steps
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of managing up and down line
  • You will be peoplefocused and love working with and motivating others
  • Exceptional communication skills to ensure the business' reputation is enhanced and maintained in the local are with clients, staff, health professionals, and other stakeholders
  • Good English, numeracy and digital skills.


Your contracted working hours will
be Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, but you will also be required to assist with covering on-call duties.

Overall, they looking for someone who is passionate about care to help us ensure our customers and care assistants are happy, comfortable, and confident in our abilities to provide for them
