Cover QA Assistant / Trainee QA Assistant

Livingston, EH54

£10.42 To £10.86 per hour

Taskmaster have a new opportunity available for a QA assistant/trainee QA assistant to work with our client based in Livingston
.

The hours of work for this position are 6.00 AM PM (40 hours per week) working 5 days out of 7.

A rota will be allocated on a 6 week basis and will include working some weekends.

The pay rate of the role will be from £10.42 to £10.86 per hour depending on experience.

Experience of working within a Production environment would be beneficial, as would some fresh produce knowledge.

Relevant experience of working within a fast-paced environment and a good working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures is essential.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for carrying out production assessments of products.
Record results and allocate according to the customer requirements.
To ensure, by inspection, that finished products comply with specification.
Conduct inspections accurately as and when required in the production schedule.
Calibrate production equipment.
Ensure compliance to customer and product specifications as well as effective problem solving, training and technical assistance as required.
Address problems as soon as they arise with Line Supervisors, Quality Manager and Production Management on an ongoing basis.
