JOB TITLE:
Housekeeper (Domestics/Laundry/Kitchen)


SALARY & BENEFITS:
From £9.50 per hour

WORKING HOURS:Day shifts - 34 hours per week. Shifts are 7am until 4pm.

THE ROLE:

As a housekeeper you will be working within a wide range of roles, but playing an essential role maintaining the effective running of the home.

You will provide an efficient and effective laundry service that fully meets the needs of the residents, along with the high standards expected in Century Healthcare Ltd Homes.

You will also work to ensure that the home is cleaned and maintained to a high standard in accordance with Century Healthcare Homes' guidelines and cleaning schedule, in addition to the individual needs and requirements of the residents.

You will also work with the Chef/Cook in preparing residents' meals, ensuring work is carried out in a safe and hygienic way, the kitchen is kept clean, meeting the Food Safety guidelines and Century Healthcare's own high standards.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the role: -

• Basic numeric and literacy skills
• Basic food hygiene certificate
• Ability to use and maintain essential catering and cleaning products
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, stock control and rotation
• Good communication skills
• Practical and Organised
• Team player
• Reliable and punctual

Must live within commutable distance to Chorley and have the right caring mind set and be passionate about helping people
