Job Title:
Children's 1:1 Support Worker (Unqualified)

As a Children's Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting these vulnerable children, providing assistance in various aspects of their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting Independence: Assist children with special needs in developing essential life skills, fostering independence in daily activities.

Engagement and Interaction: Engage positively with children through activities such as day trips, games, and educational support, creating a supportive and inclusive environment.

Time Management: Manage free time effectively, providing guidance and facilitating activities that enhance the overall well-being of the children.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and nurturing atmosphere for both staff and pupils.


Working Conditions:

Location: West Bridgeford, Nottingham and surrounding areas

Age Range: KS3, KS4

Contract Type: Full-time permanent position

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 3 pm


Qualifications and Experience:
-
Qualifications Needed: None required (Bonus if you have any)
-
Training: Full training provided, including a week-long program with ongoing support.

Opportunities You will be offered a Level 3 teaching assistant qualification if you don't already have one after 6 months. When you complete your teaching assistant course you will receive a pay rise of £2,000.


Salary and Start Date:

Pay:£13 an hour
