Description

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Head of Data to lead our data strategy.

Transforming the way that data is used to support our business and continuing the ongoing development of the capability of our organisation in using data here at The Openwork Partnership.

This senior leadership role requires outstanding communication skills and the ability to present complex data topics to the non-technical business user.

Highly commercial in your approach, you will challenge and stimulate debate across the business and beyond to our network of advisers.

Although not a technology role in itself, there will be a requirement to work closely with our Technology team to deliver data acquisition, storage and usage infrastructure to meet the current and future needs of the business.

This is a hybrid role, requiring an average of 2 days per week in our Swindon office.

Key Accountabilities:

Develop, advance, and deliver the Openwork Data Strategy being the owner of Data principles inline with business goals.
Build effective business partnering relationships across the Openwork Partnership to drive a culture of data compliance and integrity, recognising data as a corporate asset.
Working with Chief Technical Officer and Data Warehouse technical teams to ensure technical solutions align with a wider design context and for technology change
Accountable for budget/spend for data resources and data initiatives.
Act as an escalation point for data issues and challenges identified, and work with business and technical teams to address these.
Create a centre of excellence and develop a data community, with the aim to increase data literacy, data compliance, and data quality across the business.
