Information Security Specialist | Surrey | £60,000-£80,000
Calling all Information Security enthusiasts

My client is looking for an individual who can accelerate the organisation to the next level in terms of Information Security.

They are looking for an experienced strategist to consolidate a large number of diverse thoughts into a long-term vision and successfulstrategic direction.

You will need to be a forward thinker with the ability to see the evolving threat landscape and emerging technologies that are designed to reduce risk.


Your role:

  • Design one Security Strategy for the company, aligning it with Ops and Technology.
  • Align the security strategy to the business needs and the risk that the organisation faces in a fastmoving environment.
  • Support the facilitation of an overarching Information Security (IS) strategy through 35year roadmap development, obtain IS management support of the strategy and monitor progress.
  • Lead and support activities the transitions of highlevel strategies into requirements that can be developed into plans by Global Technology (GT).
  • Define target state for security to maximize our defence in depth model ensuring gaps are identified and considered for future adoption.

Your required skills:

  • Proven experience of delivering security strategies.
  • Proficient in information security risk and governance frameworks (ISO 27005, EBIOS)
  • Demonstrate proven expertise and success in developing security strategy and architecture in multiple domains,
  • Experience in performing Information Security technical risk assessments
  • SC/DV Clearance.
  • Military background.
