I have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Accounts Handler to join a friendly insurance firm based in the Worcestershire area.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Processing commercial renewals, ensuring all documents and correspondence are entered into the company system
  • Providing administrative support to account executives as and when required, including obtaining new business quotations and arranging cover
  • Attaining crosssell/upsell on policies
  • Checking new policy documentation for accuracy and forwarding to clients or liaising with insurers
  • Inviting renewal of allocated client policies
  • Ensuring all client records always reflect the current risk on cover, including accuracy of sums insured, perils, excesses, extensions, and exclusions
  • Processing midterm adjustments and quarterly declarations
  • Dealing with clients' daytoday enquiries daily, responding promptly and managing expectations
  • Providing support to team members to ensure client needs are met, particularly during peak periods or in times of holiday/absence
  • Maintaining an effective diary system
  • Ensuring cover notes are issued where appropriate
  • Liaising with the Claims department over claims queries/reports
  • Creating all invoices and relevant credit notes for new business, renewals, midterm adjustments etc, in line with company procedures
  • Successfully manage workload and priorities, assessing when additional support may be required and requested from a manager or director
  • Follow all company and FCA procedures and policies

Requirements:


  • At least 2 years of experience of working within commercial insurance (preferred)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Good IT skills are essential
