Description

Role:


  • Behaviour Support Worker for an alternative SEMH/ ASD provisio
  • Support primary and secondary aged school students aged
  • Post 16, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, associated challenging behaviours and other learning difficulties
  • Guiseley
  • Leeds
  • Immediate start
  • Term time only, Monday
  • Friday, school hours

Requirements:


  • Previous experience of working with children or young people with SEMH.
  • Ideally you will have Level 2 Team Teach training, although this can be provided by our inhouse trainers.

Responsibilities:


  • Assisting the class teacher,
  • Supporting students with SEMH needs, providing a safe, friendly and stimulating environment to learn in
  • Understanding and following individual Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
