Production Operative
We are working with a busy manufacturing company who are looking for a Production Operative.

Monday to Friday 12.15pm pm

Hours 40hrs per week

Role:

Coil, cut and pack profiles in accordance with the job sheet.
Monitor quality of product and advise machine setters of any issues.
Correctly label products and package/stack in accordance with the job sheet.
Complete forms and quality sheets per production run.
Grinding/sanding to improve the flatness and overall appearance of the product
Assist in moving product within the factory and keeping a tidy work area.
Working closely with other members of the team to assure cooperative and friendly atmosphere with regard to the daily activities of production.

Person:

Background in a similar role would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
A desire to work in a focused environment towards deadlines.
Ability to adapt to varied tasks.
Good communication skills.
Physically fit as the manual handling of raw and finished product will be required.

Benefits:

20 day's holiday (plus bank holidays) with incremental increases after 2 year's service to a maximum of 25 days after 5 years.

Company sick pay of 5 paid sick days per calendar year accruing to a maximum of 20 days per calendar year if untaken
Onsite parking
Late shift also attracts a night rate payment of £29 per night (as applicable)

PPE, Safety boots, and Hi-vis to be worn at all times on site.
