An exciting primary school in Manchester is looking for a confident and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work in a learning and exciting environment.

Their aim is to create a rich learning environment that enables every pupil to fulfil his or her potential. They are committed to the highest possible educational standards.


As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for taking care of the children's needs and supporting them, as well as assisting the teachers with their day to day work.

It is a beneficial role where, ideally, qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.

RESPONSIBILITIES AS A TEACHING ASSISTANT:

  • Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher
  • Working with small groups and 1:
  • Using creativity and innovation to improve all children's learning experiences
  • Safeguarding children
  • Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress

REQUIREMENTS FROM THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • An Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get a new one.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role).
  • Previous experience in schools is preferred.
  • Two most recent professional recommendations. (This is essential)
  • Adapt to the demands of the students in a professional and courteous manner.
