Interim Financial Controller | Market-leading SaaS Scale-Up | London | 6-Month Contract


Harmonic are delighted to be working with a rapidly scaling SaaS business whose product is the most powerful CPQ engine built to drive performance, productivity, and profits.

With a headcount of 350, across 10 different international entities, this FinancialController will be essential in the month end consolidation of accounts across all entities.


Their SaaS product helps communications, Media, and Utilities companies worldwide to grow, reducing go to market timelines, sell their products fast, increasing overall sales and ensuring improvement in order accuracy.

Working with Blue-chit household names,they operate on a high value low quantity model which has seen the business create long lasting relationships with their clients.


The Role
In this 6-Month position, the controller's main responsibility will be ownership of the Group Consolidation process and work. Our client is looking for a strong accountant who has experience working within a high intensity, fast-growth, Scale-Up environment.


Responsibilities

  • Complete group consolidations and manage balance sheet review process
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly entity and group reporting including balance sheet and cash flow as part of the monthly MI pack and quarterly board reports
  • Produce Monthly Management Accounts
  • Produce weekly short term cash flow forecasts and proactively lead group cash management.
  • Build mentor and develop and excellent team as the business grows.
  • Adhoc duties to support the CFO and VP of Finance

Essential Skills

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
  • Previous experience leading Group Consolidations
  • Experience in an internationally Scaling business
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get hands on within the startup.
  • Previous experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller in a tech startup or scaleup.

Bonus Experience

  • Previous experience within a SaaS
  • Sage experience
  • Experience using NetSuite, Intacct or other Midtier systems with consolidations

Day Rate £500-£600/day (Inside IR35)
